“I thought I was coming to camp to make a difference in the lives of people with disabilities. These people ended up changing my life forever, allowing me to see how beautiful each and every individual is; allowing me to see beyond any “disability”, to the true ability in everyone. Working at Camp He Ho Ha has taught me more about life and all it has to offer than any formal education ever could.”
Kandis Morneau

Each summer, we hire passionate individuals from across Canada to provide personal care, programming, and medical support to our campers. Our team of counselors is selected for their skills, leadership, and dedication to supporting individuals with mental and physical disabilities.
Camp Health, Hope & Happiness is committed to workplace equity and diversity, welcoming applicants of all races, ethnicities, religions, genders, ages, and identities. We ensure equal access to employment opportunities for all.
Join our team and make a meaningful impact on the lives of individuals with special needs. Our staff undergoes comprehensive, mandatory training before camp begins, covering areas such as communication, team-building, behavior management, emergency procedures, fire safety, and more. This training equips our staff with the skills needed to succeed in their roles.

“Camp He Ho Ha is undoubtedly the most magical place on earth! What makes it so special for me as a counsellor is the focus on the ABILITY of the campers! The best moments for me, were watching the campers accomplish things they had never done before! Camp has shown me what it means to love unconditionally, the value of being unique and what it feels like to be truly happy! My life has been forever changed for the better because of Camp He Ho Ha!”
